Headin' West is a suite of three pieces inspired by scenes encountered when visiting small towns in the Australian bush: wallabies hopping in paddocks, the awe inspiring night sky away from the city lights, and the annual rodeo. The piano part is an important feature of the pieces; its use is recommended.
