Details: The XK1-116 speakers from MB Quart are part of their exclusive X-Line of products. They are made with a composite basket with the original German-spec material. They have been upgraded with a 20mm pure titanium dome tweeter and a mica-filled PP cone mated to UV butyl surround. They have a coaxial crossover hidden in the tweeter post for added protection and increased reliability. The tweeters on the X-Line speakers from MB Quart are made from Military grade "A" titanium. They have high heat tolerance so they handle more power than competitors. These speakers come in a pair and can handle 80 watts of Max power and 40 watts of RMS power. The **MB Quart XC1-216** 6.5-inch car component speakers have been designed for the enthusiast looking for incredible sound and amazing performance. Featuring two 6.5-inch speakers, two 1-inch titanium dome tweeters, midrange woofers, and external crossovers, the XC1-216 exemplifies the MB Quart standards of high quality audio component, precision manufacturing, and precise music reproduction since the 1960's. All X-Line speakers feature a 25mm pure titanium dome tweeter on silk surround mated to a 20mm KSV voice coil. This combination of unique materials provides unmatched high frequency extension. The midrange uses strong injection molded cones while the baskets are constructed from a glass fiber reinforced PA66 composite to eliminate unwanted resonance that is not an intended part of the music.
